Under the halo of the global sales crown, the all-new sixth-generation RAV4 achieves multiple Toyota firsts: offering three exterior designs plus a GR model for the first time, debuting Toyota’s sixth-generation hybrid system, and serving as the first model built on Toyota’s Arene software platform.
As one of the localized versions of the RAV4, GAC Toyota’s Wildlander is synchronizing with the global rollout. Key details of the new model have been officially announced. GAC Toyota aims to build a “golden SUV matrix” of Highlander, Wildlander, and Frontlander.
Although information on the new Wildlander remains limited, it will adopt the global RAV4 “Core” design. Dimensions are 4600*1855*1680mm, 65mm shorter than the current model. Powertrain options include a 2.0L gasoline engine, a 2.0L hybrid (first time), and a 2.5L hybrid. The official debut is expected before the Guangzhou Auto Show in November.
